Plan components: Phase 2
All effective Business Continuity plans include the following components or functions in the Plan’s second phase:
Creation of Business Unit response plans to assure that the organization continues to provide at least a minimum level of service.
Creation of Support Unit response plans to assure that the organization will be restored to business as usual in the most efficient and economical means practicable.
Creation of an Organization-level plan to support Business and Support plans.
Personnel awareness and safety training.
Responder training and exercises to validate the plan and to build responder confidence.
Maintenance procedures to assure the plan is constantly up-to-date.
